Best economy seat on Alaska a321

Iíll be flying on the remodeled a321 for the first time from sea to ord. Iím an MVP and on Alaskaís Boeing fleet I go for an aisle seat in row 17 and donít move to premium even if a free upgrade is available. I think that row 17 has more legroom than row 6 in the Boeing fleet and legroom is king for me. The a321 map seems a little more all over the place w random bathrooms and exit rows everywhere. Whatís the best seat on the a321? I booked myself in 27a. How does the legroom in the other exit rows or premium compare?
thanks

Welcome to Flyertalk g.b.s.!
I use seatguru.com when I have questions regarding a flight.
looked up 321 neo and looks like you have a great seat.
Should have plenty of legroom.
again, welcome aboard.

Welcome to Flyertalk!

I just flew in 6A on an A321 last week and it feels like it has the same, if not more legroom than F. With middle seats blocked, I didn't mind it. It would not be fun, however, if someone were next to me.

With that said, I wouldn't pay for PC with the seat you already have.

I flew the A321 last night on the short hop from SEA-PDX and I was in 6A...plenty of legroom for me with room to store items under the first class seat in front of you. If you're a fan of the tablet clips on the back of the seat in front of you, there are no clips in this row since you're looking at the back of the first class seats so I actually may sit elsewhere on a longer flight where I would be watching movies. I still don't think there is the leg room you get from row 17 on the 737s which is my go-to spot if I don't sit in F on those flights.

27A is as good as it gets in regards to legroom on the 321, but I also prefer 6a/6f, just because of the ease on/off the aircraft.

Row 6 seats, and any seat with the tray table in the armrest (including F), have a tablet holder built into the tray table. It works both when using half the tray table or the full tray table.

I have a few flights (3!) on the A321 coming up over the next ten weeks.

Somehow, despite being an LAX based flyer, I haven't been on one yet.

Seat guru indicates 10A does not have a window ... is that right? Not even a small one in the door?

Consensus is if I want a lot of legroom, 27A is the best choice with no seat directly in front?

Checking.....I know it is missing on an 800.
cannot believe no window in actual exit row. Usually seats for Elite or premium do not have this type of limitation.
as far as a321, have been in refurbished F but not Main,.....yet 😉
I have flight Saturday on a321, checked seat map. 27A looks good to me.

As I mentioned previously in this thread, 27A is definitely the best seat in Y on this bird, and not so surprisingly SeatGuru is incorrect. I've flown in 10A, and there is a very tiny window in the exit door.

However, you really can't see out of it from your seat due to the distance from your seat, and its size. You can get an idea of the size from this pic taken of the exterior of the 321 from a jetway. The legroom is very good tho, just not 27A good.

I guess I'll have to think about how much I want to drink on my flights... because I might give up the PC upgrade for all the room in 27A.

Is 11D not the sweet spot too? No seat ahead of it? Or is the map misleading?

Misleading, that's an FA jumpseat.
