Some recent F fares are really cheap of late, purchasing F might be a better bargain if checked baggage might be involved.

Just another way to using wallet funds toward better inclusive travel.

PS- between pdx and sea, fares might be $49 basic, $69 main, $89 F. Id take $89F for all the bundles. Between ord and sea, $69 basic, $89 main, $169 First. Even this F is reasonable if baggage check will be involved.
Im glad i asked because never thought about it like that. Thank you lol just changed from pc to f was 20 difference. Thank u

No option to use travel credits (from a fare reduction on same itinerary!) toward F upgrade at checkin. Did not call to try just paid via cc.

Phone agents cant process charge via phone using travel credit anyway. They will just create a new pnr that you can manage and apply funds to on the site.

Well, I have had gift cards, purchased from AS, which AS encouraged me to put into my wallet. They are there, designated as gift cards. Are they, then, frozen from being used for upgrades, etc? Would seem unfair to do that, especially if there were no disclaimer. The gift cards have been advertised as being usable for multiple things.

You should double check the terms. Its quite explicit that theyre valid for new travel booked online.
