Problems Preordering Food
I've checked every single flight I have booked - thru April, and not one lets me preselect food. Doesn't matter if I am in First Class or Steerage.

Such a shame they ended this or its glitchy without a notification.

are you doing it through the app? I am still able to reserve food. worked for all three ( F, Y, and saver)

I have BOS-PDX-LIH for 2/4 and it shows pre-order
The return on 2/14 does not. Perhaps its now closer in requirement?

Even on the website, 2 super long haul flights (for Alaska) and within meal periods - Preordering is not available. And I'm within the 2 week window

yeah, good point. I can reserve up to 2/8 but not on 2/12

I have a SEA-DFW tomorrow morning. I used the AS website and was able to pre-order my FC meal about three weeks out without any issues.

I would but even flights leaving next Monday don't let me select anything. The Facebook group mentioned checking the website, and even there it says "Preordering is not available".

Maybe my MileagePlan Number is cursed.

None of my reservations (late Feb, March) allow food ordering, it seems.

Maybe it knows your name is UAPremierExec. I wonder if I'll be similarly cursed as EB1K on my next trip. (Actually, the next trip was available about 3 weeks out. I'm speaking of the "next next" trip )

This thread reminded me that my flight to Costa Rica is less than two weeks out, and I went to the Alaska site and had no problems preselecting a meal in coach.

No, try unplugging alaskaair.com and plugging it back in again...


I'm pretty sure they hired that guy to build the AS award booking engine...

I just pre-ordered for FC this week as late as this past sunday.

I just checked and it will let me pre-order on the web for tomorrow's BOS-LAX.
