Longest AS flight?

So today I am on AS 921, FLL to SEA. Flight time is 6:34.

That had me wondering, what’s the longest flight in the AS network? I didn’t find an easy way to look that up anywhere.

Ahhh the winter jet stream! I was on a MCO-PDX flight in February that was close to 6:30 in the air.

As for the longest, I think LIR-LAX and ANC-ORD/KOA are probably the longest based on distance. This time of year those Florida and NYC flights back to the west coast can take forever.

Yeah, even the inflight crew gasped when they heard the time in flight... but hey I am in F and have a steady stream of Mimosas coming.

I might not be remembering correctly, but I think I've had a couple of flights on EWR - SEA over 7 hours.

Had a MIA to SEA on AS a number of years back that was 6:50. They offloaded 6 people in Miami in order to load more fuel.

Winter Westbound flights can easily add 30-40 minutes to the typical flight time.

I suspect that FLL-SEA is the longest scheduled nonstop.

I feel like ANC - HNL is up there. Is this the only nonstop between the two non-contiguous states?

Does a tech stop on a WB transcon count as longest? Maybe talk to those people stuck in Buffalo or SLC for refueling.

JFK-SFO was 6:16 for me the other day

ANC-KOA: 2,874 miles
ANC-ORD: 2,846 miles
ANC-OGG: 2,797 miles
ANC-HNL: 2,777 miles
LAX-SJO: 2,722 miles
BOS-SFO: 2,704 miles

until a couple of years ago, BLI-KOA was on that list too.

I know that BLI-OGG/HNL/KOA made tech stops at PDX or SMF in the past; and that ANC-HNL/OGG/KOA has topped up at ADQ/Kodiak as well

I don't think so. Just looked up my Flight Memory and PDX-EWR was 5h24 for me. Granted that's with the jet stream, but I can't imagine the jet stream adding over 90 minutes.

My friend claims he flew direct ANC-MIA 10 years ago or so. I was fairly certain this route has never existed but he was adamant.

Maybe it was a charter?
Maybe it was a connecting flight at SEA but he was so tired that he was a walking zombie at SEA and fell asleep most of the time in SEA? That's the most likely. I know because I once was in a country and remember very little of it.

Gentle breeze in Gilead until they run out of booze. :-:
