AS I Class Doesn't Earn Avios on BA?

I just flew from SFO to HNL in I. The flight posted in my BA account with 0 earnings today. I then looked at BA's website (https://www.britishairways.com/en-us...-avios/flights), and I class if not included.

I'm supposed that even discounted economy fares are counted, but not revenue first class? Has it always been the case? Can I ask AS to post the miles to my AS account instead?

This sometimes happens when fare classes are added or changed and the partner hasn't updated their handling of it for whatever reason.

Email your boarding pass, receipt, and Mileage Plan #/details to [email protected]. It may get rejected as already posted, in which case you'll need to have BA unpost it and resubmit to AS.

See Miles posted to BA instead of AS - fixable?

(will ask mods to merge this into that thread)

Is your end goal to have this posted to BA or AS? Which would you prefer?

My intention was to get this posted to BA. I am usually a Star Alliance flyer, so I only fly AS only a few times a year when the fare makes sense. I do have some Avios from credit cards so it makes more sense for me to get Avios. Besides, any posting extends my Avios another 3 years.
