The "right way" does not work. Reporting a problem to AS should be the right way but that has failed miserably for other IT problems in the past.
The most effective way is to get the attention of a high profile news reporter who will publicize the problem and who can get high level contacts inside AS to follow up on the story and sometimes that is enough to shame AS into fixing it.

I have doubts that it was JAL. Some partners were working and some were not. BA was working. AA and AS had issues. Someone speculated that it was a GDS issue. Amadeus not communicating inventory to Sabre.

AS obviously uses Sabre for reservation bookings and DCS but all website inventory searches & pricing including award pricing (website, apps, and call center) uses ITA by Google. So so whatever the problem was, it wasn't a pricing problem with Sabre.
