AS 3296 Incident
Alaska's official site is reporting that there was an incident upon landing at Dutch Harbor this evening on AS 3296, which traveled from ANC-DUT. Local reports show the plane having veered off the runway. There aren't any reports on injuries or fatalities as of yet that I can see.

N686PA is the tail number in the photo, but doesn't seem to match up with the details in Flight Radar24.

Glad everyone appears to be ok.
DUT is an extremely challenging location to fly into. Does appear to be a wet lease. Some articles indicate there may have been extra sections due to wx earlier in week being cnld. |
Is that a dirt runway?

https://blog.alaskaair.com/alaska-ai...r-flight-3296/ There's also more details on avherald, along with a couple of photos Accident: Pen SB20 at Unalaska on Oct 17th 2019, overran runway on landing |
I am assuming, maybe wrongly, that the fatality must be related to the propeller striking ground/breaking/entering cabin? The airframe looks pretty much intact, considering circumstances so The major injuries would be most likely improper/unbuckled bets, prop strike, and maybe some whiplash-type injuries?
