Change of date for 2nd award flight

On a multi-city economy award ticket, if youíre flying nonstop JAL HND/NRT-ORD, followed by AS ORD-SFO after your stopover perk, how much in fees should be expected in order to change the date for the free AS flight, would you say?

$125. The standard change fee, that is IF there is available seats on the other flight

Your title is confusing. It implies more than I award. I think what you mean to say is the 2nd flight of an award, not a second award flight.

Usual change fees & waivers will apply provided the changes are made prior to using the first coupon. After your first flight, no changes can be made to the itinerary as per other datapoints in this forum. YMMV

I have made changes to my itineraries to include a co-terminal and to change a through flight to a stopover, but never after the first flight was flown.

YMMV here. I have changed the second leg multiple times after flying the first award segment, including twice this year on CX and BA.

Thanks for the datapoint. I don't have direct experience post itinerary commencement. I was referring to other datapoints that I have read. I do find that with AS, the leinancy between policy and experience increases with higher status. Again YMMV.
