It's been what, 10+ years since the last increase? IIRC it was $275 for MVPG then. AS has closed lounges in YVR and SFO, although SFO is supposedly under construction, and YVR is now a PP.

Lounge Temp Access?
Just bought an AS lounge membership to beat the price increase and for AA lounge access. I'll be at AA lounges before my membership card arrives. Will my confirmation email get me in like it does in AS lounges?

Each time I access an AC they just want to see my BP because my lounge membership shows up on it. They do not need to see my membership card but I do have it in my wallet just in case.

This is true if you have a boarding pass for AS. If you're flying AA, then you need to show your physical or electronic lounge membership card.

You may have already done this but as a precaution I take a screenshot of the membership card. That way it's always available on your phone/device even if you can't get on the app for some reason.
