What mileage level for add on AS to BA award (Bay Area to SAN)?

We have SAN-LHR in F at end of year as AS award on BA. Looking to possibly add the SFO or SJC to SAN in either Y or F. What mileage award level do I need to find? I only see 12.5K one way at the moment assume that one is not correct?

Assuming that’s not involving any AA flights, yes, it is correct. It (12.5k) is Saver Coach (W).

No. All BA - SAN-LHR-ZRH. Thanks!

So 12.5k is not the right level. Must be the 7.5k for short haul? I tried to do a fake booking to see if I could see booking code but you can’t for award bookings and also asked AS rep what mileage level to look for but she didn’t know.

The "saver" award buckets that could be added on to partner awards always used to be W for coach and A for First...

I don't think that has changed even with the move to variable pricing awards
