Isn't I a subset of F?

I haven't seen this before ... (F0 P0 I7)

Short answer, Yes.
It seems like I is what P used to be. It is the First Class version lowest non refundable fare. When they first came out my confirmation said Fare I- COACH and Seat 2A.
Was confusing. Now seems to be fare bucket they slowly start with, except for full F.

I clarified my post, but the availability of the flight in the image is showing F0 P0 I7 (also the seat map shows one empty first class seat)

That's an AA operated flight. Probably something wonky in the mapping since I is so new.

Since I fares all have Q/L/V/K fare basis codes (P fares use S/B/M/H -- they formerly all mapped into P fares until I was added and they were split), you wouldn't be able to book anything anyway due to the fact those buckets are zero'd out and the dual inventory check. Those fares almost always have some sort of advance purchase requirement as well, so even if there was bucket inventory, there would be no actual fares available for purchase due to the close-in time of flight.

Everything that involves an AA codeshare is weird with fare classes, and as mentioned AS does not fly that route.
For example, the same flight, AA6062/AS4770 SAN-LAX on 28Jun:

AA6062 - J5 R5 D5 I5 Y7 B7 H7 K7 M7 L7 G7 V7 S7 N7 Q7 O7 E0
AS4770 - F7 P0 I7 Y7 S7 B7 M7 H7 Q7 L7 V7 K7 G7 T7 R7

How AS is selling F7 when there's only J5 and in fact if you look at the seat map, only 5 F seats not yet assigned, is beyond me. I wouldn't think a partner would oversell the operating airline's flight.

My guess is that that the overstated F partner inventory would error out if a sale were attempted.

That would be my guess too. Phantom inventory isn't just an award bucket problem.
