Question of Qualifying Mile
New here. Just want to check if I did my math correctly. Sorry if this question is asked before or a thread dedicate to these kind of questions.
If I take Hainan Airline Business Z fare and credit to Alaska, assuming it's 8,000 miles trip and I am MVP GOLD. I would get 8,000*2.5 for class of service another 8,000 for MVP gold = 28,000. Is this correct? However, what's the Elite Qualifying Mile? Is it just 100% of base mile which is 8,000? Or 20,000 for the class of service bonus? Or 28,000 for the rdm I earned? Thanks in advance! |
just base + class of service

Depending on when you are flying don't forget to register for the double RDM promo:

it looks like Z class is 100% base + 50% class of service + 100% bonus for a total of 250%. That's before including the 100% bonus rdm from MVP gold. So the EQM will be 8,000x150% = 12,000? Or including the bonus 8,000x250%=20,000? TIA |
You are mvpg right?
So in Z class you get 150% eqm and 350% rdm. If you fly during the double miles promo, you get 450% rdm instead. Don't forget that if you connect a TPAC flight to an intra-china flight, the intra-China flights always seem to book into C, so you will get extra 100% eqm and rdm for those legs. |
