Operations at Paine Field (PAE) - Inaugural Flight 3/4/2019

It's official. From https://www.heraldnet.com/business/p...eoff-says-faa/

Federal regulators on Wednesday approved the start of commercial air service at Paine Field, giving a green light to long-sought passenger flights from a new two-gate terminal on the east side of the airport.
See y'all for the inaugural!

Technically, won't the first flights actually arrive the day before (positioning flights) to get ready for the morning outbound flights?

By "first flight" I mean "first flight available for the public to purchase". There have been flights in and out of the field for decades.

not necessarily ... they might ferry the jet up from SEA ~0800 for the 1030 departure to LAS

What is going to be a good parking or ground transport situation for those preparing and in the know?

What, you don't like paying $20 for a short 5 minute walk to the terminal?

From the PAE website:
RENTAL CAR COMPANIES: We are working with several national car rental companies to ensure ease of transport to and from the terminal. Please check back here for updates.

Wonder how much demand there will be for rental cars? May take awhile...

I don't find the "location" link to be all that helpful.

Given the address - I'm assuming the terminal is on 100th, on the west side of Airport Road? Is it a dead-end street into the terminal - go through a loop and then back out the way you came?

These new flights are causing some very interesting new routings to show up on award searches. MFR-PDX-PAE-SAN? Sure, why not?

not just awards ... results for “SEA (all airports) to BWI” included PAE-PDX/SFO/SJC-LAX-BWI and PAE-PDX/SFO-SAN-BWI
