Those short segments are killer. After an upcoming work trip I'll have about 95k qualifying miles between AS and UA, but only 24 segments total (28 including my award travel).

MVPG done, but is it even worth mentioning?
TBD if I can get to 75K this year....

I have squandered my AA Plat this year but expected that.

58,235 on 6/4 (once my only AS segment posts. Plenty of time and opportunities to hit 90k as I use mostly partners. One CX FC NYE surprise fare, an AA I fare ex-PEK, a couple AA coach TPAC's RT and an AS SFO-MCO recently. Compared to the AA EXP earnings, much better AS RDM's though not full EQM's on the AA coach TPAC's. Can't spend those anyway.
And now: MVPG75K on July 31st with the return on a SIN-SYD-LAX QF RT.

I have very carefully planned my travel such that I will make 75K on 30 Dec. Of course, I expect lots of others to qualify on 31 Dec with last minute MRs.

Year-to-date Alaska miles
Flown:53,248 miles
21,752 miles to MVP Gold 75K

Year-to-date Alaska/partner* qualifying miles
Flown:75,395 miles
14,605 miles to MVP Gold 75K

6K RT ANC-ORD-ANC later this month plus other travel will put me well north of 100K just on AS by year end. Made Gold in early June as I recall.

YTD Alaska miles: 41,027

I haven't flown on any partners this year, and I've flown a whole lot more UA than I'm accustomed to (should get to Gold).

Anticipated work travel is going to get me close, probably somewhere around 70k. Will probably need to get a mileage run done sooner rather than later, since I will be out of the country for almost all of December...

I should hit MVPG the 21st this month on my Orlando flight then Ive got enough flights already purchased to be one MR away from keeping MVP75 by November - lets hope! Im excited this year Ive brought my wife with me enough weve got a shot at getting her to MVPG this year as well! I love her but Shes the flakiest flyer in the world so not having to pay those cancellation fees for her would be great!
