Hit 46000 BITS by mid May but picked up a friendly norovirous from my last trip to FLL and forced to lay low for 7 weeks. Preparing to resume travel in September. 75k by mid November -- how easy to get lost in the challenge. Is it preferable to stay on the ground and enjoy what's all around or be running all the time to somewhere else?

Flight back from BWI put me at 43k for the year. I have another 10k planned but don’t think I’ll do much more than that.

Miles from last week's R/T lax:Hkg (I did have 2 flights cancelled out of HK as a result of the protests, and also a reroute, but made it out) bumped me over 90k for the year. And 50k bonus miles posted same day.

First time ever MVP Gold. Qualified for rest of 2019 and 2020 today. Tapped out at MVP for a few years but Virgin America acquisition finally gives me enough service at my home airport.

Travel has slowed with a little one on the way and will likely not qualify for 75K for the first time in a long time. Currently at 46K for the year, but think I will end up between 65 - 70.

Do you know about Alaska's Elite Leave program? Could help you extend 75K another year if you qualify: https://www.alaskaair.com/content/mi...ts/elite-leave

62,674, as of this week. I should hit 75k, but not much more than that.

Yeah, its a great program. However, based on the due date, I will likely be able to use that next year to requalify for Gold if needed.

If you are going to be at 65-70K would it be possible for you to squeeze in another few flights or upfare into I, P, F on existing reservations to get over the threshold? The 75% COS would reduce your flight miles required from 5K-10K to 2,860- to 5,720.

You would be able to maintain 75K through the end of 2021 if you took leave in 2020. If flights are still fewer in 2021 but still enough for MVPG, that would extend through the end of 2022.

Are you paying cash for these fares? Maybe your work is covering? Either way, .......
