All on AS tin so far. Only a single round trip to Europe on Aer Lingus which is barely contributing to elite status addition (10K to gold and non contributory to 15k for gold75)
44.3k on AS tin as of this week.

50K by ending of month or first week of June.

This yes so far I split my flying between AS and DL, almost down to the middle. Not counting some stray flights in HA, UA, and WN, I have about 34,200 miles in both AS and DL as of this week. I have booked about 10K AS flights through early July. Still chasing that MM status,

You guys are crazy :)

I am a reformed Aadvantage Platinum LOL. Once AA severed the AS partnership I switched. I do mostly up and down west coast travel so I have to qualify with short haul flights...hoping to hit MVP this month and then MVPG by end of summer. I can only dream about 75K.

As of May 7, 56k in mostly partner flights. Scheduled business travel should reach the necessary 90k partner miles by August 9 (or about a week later when I find that most of my Cathay flights seem to post).

MVP by Apr 6, and MVPG by Apr 14. Should reach 75K around Aug 11. All thresholds are being reached with a combination of AS and partner miles.

I've flown the miles for MVPG, but these JL segments post so slowly... only the first segment of SEA-NRT-BKK-NRT-SEA has posted for me.

That is a lot of segments! Are you flying short hops regularly? 60 segments @ 500 min EQM is eqivalent to ~12 transcons which is still 10K short of MVPG. What was the differential between your segments and earned EQM on them, if you don't mind sharing?

So, I was counting a 4 segment stint (ONT>SEA>PDX/PDX>SEA>ONT) in my 65 which hasn't posted yet. Almost all of my trips are 4 segments round trip, or longer milk runs with multiple destinations. Socal airports to seattle generally and then on to regional airports in PNW and Western Canada.

Year-to-date Alaska miles
Flown:
45,698miles
29,302 miles to MVP Gold 75K

Year-to-date Alaska/partner* qualifying segments
Flown:
61miles
29 segments to MVP Gold 75K

And, all my miles just posted!

54,126 AS+partner EQM, including
19,776 AS EQM

Also flew two F awards: SFO-NRT-BKK and BKK-HKG-SFO

It's been a good 5 months of flying!

Thanks for sharing. Earning status by segments seems to be real challenge with 500 EQM minimum. With 61 posted and 45,698 EQM miles it appears you passed the 40K EQM threshold before the 60 segment threshold. Still a lot of flights.

I am currently at 93,979 miles on 36 AS+Partner flights. Some of those flights include COS bonus but probably offset by a 50% decrease in earning on LA that took effect after purchasing 4 segments across the Pacific (SYD-AKL-PPT-IPC-SCL) I lost 4435 EQM there alone. Shortest flight AS SEA-PDX. (500EQM, 1125 RDM) Longest Flight EK DXB-GRU-SCL Direct (9170EQM, 20,633RDM).

I didn't plan on being on the EK direct routing but circumstance dictated. Ninety minutes on the ground in GRU, remained onboard; onboard for 22 hours. Would I do it again? Absolutely.

I have also flown about 45K on awards and 5K on non AS flights.

Just cleared MVPG on Sunday. 58k, mostly partner metal (CX and EK). If I continue crediting CX to AS, should clear MVPG75 sometime in the fall.

MVP on 3/28
MVPG on 5/8
58,235 on 6/4 (once my only AS segment posts. Plenty of time and opportunities to hit 90k as I use mostly partners. One CX FC NYE surprise fare, an AA I fare ex-PEK, a couple AA coach TPAC's RT and an AS SFO-MCO recently. Compared to the AA EXP earnings, much better AS RDM's though not full EQM's on the AA coach TPAC's. Can't spend those anyway.

41K AS now, ~52K by the end of the month. I only have a couple of trips planned for the back half of the year at this point, but will likely try to figure out enough more to get to 75K for next year. And then I will try never to fly this much again, because I'll also be at 60 segments total YTD between AS and HA by the end of the month and very likely to be north of 100 for the year, and that's just too damn much airplane time for my taste.
