Not sure how they paid, but I saw the GA leave the F galley with two empty 7-11 shopping baskets during boarding. I didn’t quite make the connection to our meal choices until the FA told us about an “unusual meal configuration” and then handed out boxed salads or sandwiches. Looks like there is a 7-11 conveniently near E-13 (we departed from E-11).
