Thank you for the menu picture, I think if this is the menu served on my upcoming trip I will "take a walk on the wild side" lol and order the cod entree. It looks like from the replies it has good flavors but nothing spicy or over the top (cant do spicy)

I’m hoping someone will know what is being served breakfast from SFO to MCO, and return flight is at 4:45 from MCO to SFO. Looks like the planes are the old Virgin America planes.

AS90: Tomato Omelette or Sweet Potato Hash (see above)
AS905: Cod or Ravioli (see above)
These should be available for pre-order in the app if your flight is within 2 weeks (mine is...).

AS 853: SEA-HNL, Jan 21 @ 7am Breakfast

Menu: No - the FC attendant read from a menu, but didn't really know the ingredients

We preordered. The pre-order options read as follows:

Montamore Tomato Omelet
Omelet made with cage-free eggs and filled with roasted tomatoes and tangy Montamore cheese. Served with a cranberry-cognac chicken sausage link and herb roasted tricolored potatoes

Sweet Potato Hash
Roasted sweet potatoes served with marinated Tuscan kale, sweet roasted peppers and a soft-cooked egg. Garnished with toasted pumpkin seeds and lemon-infused Greek yogurt.

To start: a cheesy bread roll and some cold poached pear slices.

I had the sweet potato hash - the egg was not soft-cooked

AS 852: HNL-SEA, Jan 27 @ 3:35pm Lunch

Menu: Yes

Pre-ordered: Yes. My wife decided to give up her pre-order to allow someone else to get the steak. The ravioli was excellent, and the steak was terrible. The curried ginger carrot soup was really good (but not at all hearty) though! The gravy made it possible to choke down the steak. My wife thought her meal may be the best Alaska has served her, and was glad to have switched.

the presentation is really cheapened by keeping the meat juices/ sauce in that foil container.

I am convinced soft eggs are impossible with aircraft catering....

You have clearly not ordered eggs in CX F.

To be fair, the eggs were soft-cooked at some point in the process, but that was a long time before they got to me

A good reason for some empirical research, first hand!

Or LH, however, on LH they have an elec skillet they use to cook to order, not too sure how CX does there, but I highly doubt that AS has enough room in the galley for a elec skillet.

I had the same breakfast last week, but I got 9 grapes instead of the mandated 8. I sure someone got a reprimand for that egregious oversight. And, YES, the sandwich and grapes were the entire meal. I have heard that catering has been cut back to the old, unacceptable standards as a way to pad the bottom line. Sure seems that way.

Departure Time: 20:25 PM
Meal/Snack: None

Snack basket provided, containing a choice of, bananas, mixed nuts, mini kind bars, beef jerky, barkthins, popcorn chips (surprisingly good) and few other items. Drinks were taken and delivered after takeoff. Snack basket was passed around a second time until all the contents were depleted. FA was very good and kept drinks filled.
