NO UG #3 on the list.
Sitting at the gate at PDX when I hear a GS offering to sell the last F seat on the plane. Others on the UG list got to the counter before me and we ALL proceeded to explain the procedure to the GA who told us we were all wrong. GA "A" stated "Even if you are on the list, AS policy is to try to sell the seat before offering the UG to someone on the list. It has always been that way". We asked them to call a supervisor to get the real policy. GA "B" calls and finds out we are right, they are wrong. Then they tell us, that they had been working the evening shift recently and that is how it is done all the time. So, if you are flying through PDX, please be aware that there is mis-information and shenagins going on. The last F seat did go to the person who was #1 on the list.
I am on flight 3343 on 3/12. They are asking for volunteers to go on a different flight with a $250 payment since the main cabin is oversold.. There are still 4 seats for sale in F. No one has been upgraded yet and I have been #1 on the list since check in.

I'd probably call them, to avoid the copy-pasted answer.
Overall, the employee training at AS seems to be abysmal. This is no different from FAs who claim that there are no PDBs on short flights. Too many employees seem to have no clue what they are supposed to be doing.

3/18/19. AS1001 SFO-DCA G75K upgrade at T-120(!!)
F-6 were open at time of upgrade. This is the first I've been upgraded on any DCA-SFO flight a full five days out. I'm counting this as my second data point that AS has improved U space upgrades for the airbus fleet.

I'm in the area all the time because my SO live right outside the park, but we're specifically planning on going in and hiking this weekend! This is the best time of year to see Yosemite, I highly suggest finding time to make it there, you definitely won't regret it!

AS 1063, JFK-SEA Sun 10 MAR
MVPG75K,
R fare purchased 4 Dec
On 4 Dec, originally scheduled for A321 but had swapped to A320 month prior, it didn't clear as expected. Mine didn't clear but it cleared three.
While coast to coast, because it was opereated by Airbus, it had seatback entertainment, no digiplayer. Didn't know headset cost $3 for 75K.
Jiburi
PS-Will fly AS 1063 JFK-SEA Sun 17 MAR, will be operated by A321 but luckily, just changed to 16F A321 aircrafts. I might get lucky provided aircraft don't change to older config A321. Finger crossed. UPDATE: Nope, even worse, upgraded to F then downgraded due to aircraft swap in SFO.

3/11 PHX-SFO 305p departure: UG @ ~30 hours. PMVX aircraft in the PMVX config. PMVX FAs and pilots were wondering why AS boards so early. "I still don't get it. Why do they load 45 minutes before departure if we sit here fully loaded?" I've been wondering that for three years.
3/11 SFO-PDX 605p departure: UG @ 120 hours. I was able to do a SDC to the earlier flight after a little cajoling of the gate agent.

Nope. 1&2 were obvious companions, as well as 8&13. Called the Customer Care line and they were just as stumped as to what was going on. "This should not have happened and I have no idea why it did" . Upgrade Processor Hijinks. I'm really hoping this year is not going to be a repeat of last year.

I was number one on the list since checkin. Still no upgrade during boarding, so I took my seat on the E75 in seat 6C. 4D remained opened, so I was sure they were going to come on the plane and give me the upgrade. Next thing I know they shut the door for take off. I asked the passing flight attended about the seat upgrade and she said, the door is shut and no one can move seats. Also mentioned it was the gate attendant that cleared the upgrades and there was nothing she could do.
Lesson learned, when you’re number 1 on the list, board last...
