I'm going to be short by 1400 miles this year. How does Alaska handle the class of service bonus for F on flights less than 500 miles? Do you get the 500 eqm or 750 like UA or 875 (175%)?

You earn 875 EQM on a paid F, D, P, I fare. 500 minimum + 375 COS (75%) both EQM. Also access to the AL if there is one in your market.

On the economy side, Y & S fare classes earn a 50% COS for 750 EQM minimum; a return in Y, S would give you 1500 EQM

Just to confirm, I have 89,655. I called Alaska today and they said no problem. They would bump me up to 90,000 and told me I would get every benefit but the 50,000 bonus miles.
Would buying up help rather than the complimentary option?
My closest airports are IAD/DCA/BWI.
When I found out a few weeks ago they would bump me up for the last 500 miles I didn't realize it didn't include the 50,000 bonus. Ugh.
Now it's the 26th and I don't have the time to go on an AS trans-con and I'm just thinking of any other options besides AA DCA-YYZ. There is AA DCA-NAS but that's is full or crazy expensive.

Assume you have checked every flight to make sure you received the eqm credit you were due?

Maybe paid one way, award the other?
12/31 DCA-NAS #4457 economy award available through AS for 17.5K. Immediate return (also #4457 ) NAS-DCA for $303.
