Search also returns one-way Premium Economy "Sale" fares that are about Sale Y+$1,000.

I received this, and when I thought how many curtains would be closed in front of me between any seat I'd get, and the front of the plane, I broke out in a rash as bad as that Eczema woman in the commercials.

Me and my partner make fun of this commercial all the time......

but 799 is a very good deal to SYD.....any word that it actually books into a fare earning class on QF????

Isn't that what AS is advertising with "and you'll earn Alaska miles along the way" ?

Wouldnt be the first time for a slight oversight.... ;-)

i made a dummy booking, this books into Q class - 100% miles earned!

I have had major issues in the past with QF and booking classes not earning miles with AA. I wish they were more upfront on the booking letter code during the booking process.

I believe all coach fares earn 100% in AS. Its the one remaining partner where there isn't low to no earning options

That's right. I booked one of these fares last summer and earned 100% on a $799 fare.

Wow, AS actually personalizes these things based on your city? I'm impressed.

I think I recall reading recently that QF has been booking people into fare classes that aren't even on AS fare chart, and therefore not getting any miles.

Given how important fare class is to flying these days, I wish all airlines would just clearly tell you what your ticket fare class is after you add it to cart.

FJ earns 100% on all but their lowest three economy fares which still earn 50%. I flew SYD-NAN-LAX return in September/November on a 100% EQM fare for $693. Aa an AS 75K it earned 14,896 EQM & 33,516 RDM.
