What to do with all those GGU's?
I've tried giving them away, ignoring them, crying over them - there's no way to use them, so what do you all do? And why does Alaska still even pretend that they're a perk? Help!

I have used 24 over the last year, including 2 trips for 2 to Hawaii, SEA-BOS, PVR & SJO. I would agree that availability has dried up lately. Maybe when the F cabins are standardized things will improve.

Ugh, I now have 10 expiring December 2019, no real point in using them on myself as 75K my upgrade rate is 19/20 this year !

I sent a message to AS customer service asking if I could trade them in for something of value, now that the U inventory has evaporated.

They never responded.

Is it against the rules for me to buy/trade for them? (I can't access the coupon connection link above)

Rule 10.
FlyerTalk is not a marketplace and nothing may be offered for sale or barter. The exception to this rule is those items in the Coupon Connection (C.C.) Forum, which is governed by specific posting rules, and access to which is granted once you have achieved 180 posts and 180 days as a member.

I use all mine, but since I have been a member for years and only 22 posts, probably never going to get access to the Coupon Connection forum!

I have given them out to my friends on FB, i just have them PM me their flight details and if the upgrade is available ill use it

U space just opened up on the return leg of a Hawaii ticket I'm targeting for next summer. Thought about using miles, but the "U fare" for a mileage upgrade is significantly more than the regular coach fare. However, the "U fare" for a GGU upgrade is not much more than the regular coach fare.
