I just made a try on that specific April 1st AS1107 flight and can select any seat in the rows 6/16/17 during the booking process as 75k on the T fare.
Maybe it was a glitch in the system yesterday.

I was thinking the I fare was perhaps like a W fare on DL as C+. But, I would much prefer a system glitch.
