50k signup bonus for Alaska CC interval?

How often does Alaska offer the 50k signup bonus? I know right now they have a B1G1 fair special going on now, but that's not particularly useful to me. Is this something I should expect to see a couple times a year, or is it rare?

Have not heard of the 50,000 mile bonus for at least 8-9 years. It was a thing about 10 years ago, and then only a couple of times.

I see a refernce to a 50K targeted offer but don't ever recall an open 50K offer in the 9 years I have had the BofA Visa nor even longer with the Canadian Mastercard. It certainly isn't something that is available on a certain interval. You can get an extra 1K if you make application onboard a flight or submit the application after the flight.

James

A few people in the Alaska Airlines forum have in the past received personally targeted, single-use links for a 50k offer when they opt-in to "Partner Offers" in their Mileage Plan account preferences.

I'd do another card for 50K but I haven't been targeted.

There was a very brief time (weeks? days?) for a public 50k promo a few years ago. I haven't heard of one since.

But you can still get multiple BofA AS cards if you do it slowly:

Doesn't it make more sense to get, say, one a year at 30k, than to keep waiting for many years for a 50k offer?
