That's the "Famous" AS water service the airline actually bragged about in a news release! Imagine - someone stroking themselves about providing a cup of water!
1/9/18 IAD-SFO. No PDB offered, not even a water bottle on the seat. After takeoff, all of Y was provided water a good 10 min before any beverage offered in F.
I don't get how any FA or airline would think this sort of system makes sense. If water is offered after take-off, that should include F. Plain and simple. Even when there is a PDB.

Sounds like normal AS Beyond!
Don't worry about that! I finally wrote in after the FA said AS didn't want any PDBs due to the potential for delaying departure, and more than one flight where the FAs had time to chat with themselves or make themselves a cup of coffee.
Didn't ask for anything and didn't receive anything. Did get a very nice response from customer care outlining the PDB policy and promising to forward my comments to inflight management. Which is all I really want.

Thanks. With all the "fails" being reported here (a drop in the bucket I bet) I wonder if they really did have a company wide training session on this matter.

I think this is a unicorn policy. I am not particularly upset about it but none of my qualifying flights have offered this since it became policy.

I’ve been on two different flights now where they came out with a pre-poured tray of oj and sparkling wine. A few people requested mimosas and in both flights, the flight attendant just poured one of the wine glasses into an OJ glass (they were all about half full) and handed them the mixture
