Aer Lingus currently flys 7 days a week SFO-DUB. They've been flying from here since 2014. Looking forward to seeing both accrual and redemption rates.

I wonder how long until the official announcement from AS:
Because connecting Aer Lingus flights with a U.S. network in Seattle is equally important, Kavanagh said he met with Alaska CEO Brad Tilden in recent weeks and the two plan to announce a formal partnership before flights commence in May.

They’ve flown from SFO longer than that, but the flight was canceled during the recession (until it started back up in 2014)

It was cheap enough (~$760 open jaw to Venice/leave from Rome) that I didn't care so much if I had to forego earning had a partnership not materialized.
The fact that you can connect through DUB, and once awards materialize, avoid the BA fuel surcharges, are enough for me to be really happy with this. If I can earn even a pittance of miles on cheap fares, all the better.
Edit... and of course, you get CBP preclearance in DUB. Which means no dealing with immigration and customs in SEA. You deplane as though you were a domestic flight.
