Consolidated 2018 Soft Landing (Renew MVP/Gold/75k) Status Offers

Just received this targeted email. Was gold from 2014-2017, flew only 3500 EQM in 2017.

Having MVP Gold status was pretty great, and we don't want you to miss out on all the benefits this year. So, we're offering one last chance for you to get back to MVP Gold status.
Just follow these simple steps: Register with one click, fly 10,000 miles between January 18 and April 15, 2018, and enjoy your benefits for the rest of the year.
DisclaimersTerms & Conditions: Only Mileage Plan members who receive this offer directly from Alaska Airlines via email are qualified to participate. Qualified members who fly 10,000 miles between January 18, 2018, and April 15, 2018, will be granted Mileage Plan MVP Gold status through December 31, 2018. Registration is required prior to your first qualifying flight. Mileage for all segments accrued toward this promotion must be earned on eligible flights operated by Alaska Airlines (flight numbers 1-999, 2000-2999, 3450-3499), or on flights operated by Virgin America and marketed by Alaska Airlines or Virgin America (flight numbers 0001 1999), and credited to your Mileage Plan account by May 15, 2018. Award or free travel is not valid for this offer. Class of Service or Elite Bonuses do not count toward qualification for the promotion. MVP Gold status will take effect 10-14 days after your last qualifying flight and will be valid through December 31, 2018. Please allow six to eight weeks to receive your new card. Offer is subject to change and all terms and conditions of the Mileage Plan program apply.
Not sure if I will take advantage. I've only got one AS trip scheduled already during this time, and it will only earn about 2200 EQMs organically.

I think that only got sent out to a few select individuals. I didn't get one, and I missed 75K by 20K (large mix of partner/AS flying last year)

Similar offer for MVPG as PV_Premier. Flew 22k+ last year, retained MVP (no AS flying after October). Have 11k+ already booked for February and March on cheap fares (I wanted to do this travel anyway, but did things like SEA-DAL-LGA just in case this was offered), so this should be a slam dunk to reacquire.

It is fairly ridiculous that COS bonuses do not count. I would be much more inclined to pursue the offer that way, actually...I'll register, but I am unlikely to make it as it stands now, and will not MR for it.

Mine is 20k by April to regain 75k. I might make it with a couple KOA round trips.

Oh, Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From gate to gate, and down the starboard side.
The summer's gone, and all the roses falling,
It's you, it's you must go on a Boston ride.

Boston is typically an inexpensive MR turn. I'm not sure of your origin, but most West Coast cities r/t to BOS are >5K EQMs (except SEA I believe).
And it would seem most appropriate for your call sign...
