Mexico City Egalitarianism?
At the check-in desk the elite line was roped off and everyone was directed to the general line (3 agents working). After getting through the line to the desk, the agent said "we don't do priority" for check-in or luggage tags. Thought that was odd, but strangely egalitarian. Annoyed about the no priority luggage tags though.
Just curious if this is just today, or specific to MEX, or specific to Mexico?
Excuse the ignorance please. I don't usually check luggage, but I found a bottle of Cuervo Reserva de la Familia for less than $80 so had to check this time.

Operations in PVR include a priority line. Fast and efficient too. Veronica was superb last month, we had to do an overnight in Seattle and she had no issue short-checking our luggage. Not sure about other Mexican destinations but PVR does not allow online boarding passes so you need to see an agent regardless to get your boarding pass. Nice to have the priority line.
