Is there a thread with a good seating comparison for the Airbus line? Have a SEA-PHL redeye and have choice of window bulkhead or either of the exit rows. While normally an aisle person I thought the airbus bulkheads were better than the exit rows.

I don't have an opinion on this, however, I will point out that with the reconfig in progress of the Airbus fleet, the older configuration will have a hard bulkhead in front of row six, and the new configuration will just have the hanging bulkhead in front of row six (ie - your feet go under first class). So it's not as simple as saying "bulkhead row on an Airbus" as you won't know which configuration you're getting until the day of.

With Frances repainting, there's been a renewed interest in #VXForever/#VXFarewell.. I've had a few pings on Twitter and Insta if we have any extra cups and bag tags from those who attended #VX1948 , I'm considering reordering.
See VX 1948 Farewell Thread if interested
(Out of respect to our FlyerTalk donors and Alaska Airlines corp comm request, these items are NOT for resell and are only for those who were on the flight (( cough ))... now if you wanna get a bunch and hand them out, be my guest..))

I haven’t flown economy class on the old VX or flown anything on the refreshed interiors yet, but if you value stretching your legs under the seat in front of you, then do not pick a bulkhead seat on the VX interior.

They're even on the purple config, but I find Bulkhead seems to have more room - you can easily walk past seatmates without them stepping out and it's a challenge to use the seatback screen without leaning very forward.

I wonder if only the engine nacelles will be repainted to remove the Virgin America name or will entire aircraft be redone into the standard AS scheme? Seems a little soon to be repainted - only 3.4 years young.

That’s such a shame that plane is (presumptively) getting repainted. That’s one of the best special liveries Alaska has done in recent history.

Looks like N922VA is finishing up in paint and will be heading home to SFO this weekend.
