yeah, was surprised to see F go out with only 5 out of 8 seats occupied on Phl-Sfo last Saturday. Was lovely having those VX leather recliners on a 6 hr flight. It’s disappointing that the new seats don’t even have legrests. Even Premium Economy on many carriers now includes legrests.

thanks for sharing the the link and the pictures! I think it looks great. Contrary to what is suggested in the thread on airliners, the non-sky interior 737s are getting blue LED lighting, as we’ve seen on the -700s.

i also read in the Alaska onboard magazine a few months ago that the E-175s are supposed to be getting blue mood lighting. Does anyone have any updates that?

Interesting - AS1899 today operated by a B739.....usually all AS 1XXX series flights are Airbus. Looks like dynamic aircraft swaps are happening due to the FAs all now integrated and can operate both A and B.....so now you cant assume the aircraft based on the flight number!

A few photos from the reconfigured A320 mentioned earlier. Few on this aircraft for LAX->PHL / PHL-LAX
A few quick thoughts. The new seats are generally nice. They're new!
The reduced recline over the Virgin America deep recliners is very noticeable. Likewise the reduced legroom is very noticeable with the new third row.
The bulkhead seats for Row 1 are now my least preferred seats in the first class cabin, as they lack the footrests found in Row 2 and Row 3 and also lack underseat storage.
The cabin divider is at least nicer to look at than the well-worn Virgin America configuration with chipped away materials.
Other note. Gogo Wifi Internet service on this aircraft was totally out. The Access Point was on, and connectable but always returned server errors throughout both flights.

how was the new blue mood lighting utilized during the flight? Blue ceilings And walls at the same time? Or white on ceilings with blue walls/ vis-a-versa? Is it just on or off or is their a dim blue/white like on the sky interior?
in reference to the gogo issues, did this preclude streaming the Alaska beyond entertainment?
