N623VA is now at SAT as of 4/14
N624VA is no at AMA as of 4/17
N636VA is now at OAK as of 12./14
N843VA is at SAT as o f4/18 - MX?
OAK spotting should be a good display of AS 320s at the moment.....and they say they dont have aircraft for OAK hawaii ops!
all 321s are active and out of MX
no change in 319s - although an N523VA flight history is weird that it was shown in glendale AZ.....
thats the full update as of this AM.....

The stored aircraft are essentially sitting to run out thier leases.....nothing more sadly - there isnt enough demand still to bring all the airbuses back (even the 737 fleet utilization is still lower than normal). There are some there as "active storage" to replace MX 320s in service but thats it.....

I might imagine that AS has limited which stations have Airbus maintenance capability as a means of managing costs, and they only schedule service to those stations. For storage they don't restrict it. At least that is what I would assume.

OAK is convenient to SFO - if the MX people need to get there to prepare 320s to bring to SFO - just give them a BART ticket to get there....(most likely they drive anyway - you need to get to the 320s in storage anyway).

Now knowing A320 and the limited oven problem will soon be gone, can we have a timeline for the return of inflight hot meal food for purchase?! Somehow, I've got a feeling, the answer is NO.

Do the a321s have a rear oven? Those airplanes aren’t going anywhere, and previously Alaska said they wanted a consistent meal offering experience regardless of aircraft type.

The A321s have been cycling through maintenance visits over the last several months, so maybe they are getting ovens installed as well. Given that they will be the fleet until 2029, that would allow for a consistent onboard experience once all the A320s are gone.

Updated fleet estimates from AS - updated wiki.
An additional 3 frames will be back into service - not sure what ones suspect it will be the later N6 series as the other N3 series arent reconfigured. Perhaps the one etops frame may come back....we will see.
Also 320 retirement pushed a year - to end of 2023.
