I noticed that the A321neos have started going in for heavy maintenance visits, but not necessarily in the order they were delivered. 921 went to SAT for a month and then 925 to GSO, with 922 parked now as of today. Any reason why 925 skipped ahead of the pack?

Just 100% speculation, it might have already been closer to some inspection phase, or some service bulletin came out that it was affected by. Lots of little things that happen in the maintenance world.

Funny - the last weebly update - 747-900er in paint right now....we could only wish AS would suddenly take on 747-8 to start transpacific service to asia!

Lol, even better, they're picking up some of Boeing's announced-through-weebly -900's! I wonder how it's different than the -8. Room for F showers, J lounges (with pancake machine, of course), Y by-the-hour bunks, and a belly space skating rink for everyone, now that Seattle is going NHL-crazy.

I have to say, I really didn't imagine we'd get that kind of bump in product from Alaska, alliance or no alliance.

Not the first ex-AS a/c G4 has operated. Guess it won't be the last. Interesting nonetheless.

N633VA and N640VA have been sitting by the SFO rental car facitlity in "active storage" i saw them move the other day and it appears perhaps they were about to fly again - i appears weebly is indicating a return to service for N633VA....so perhaps we will see N6 series fly again for AS before end of next year....heres hoping N641 flies again given the VX interiors but i doubt it.....

the demand for air travel is skyrocketing right now....ive never seen such a quick price appreciation in only a month.

looks like the end of the pandemic socially is upon us.....

I agree....the prices are skyrocketing....I was pricing PDX-PHL for August the other day and the lowest main cabin was around $250 each way....makes me miss those $123 PDX-FLL fares (even lower after the weekly discount code was applied). Oh well, I'm glad they're able to make some $$ again....I guess.

per weebly site - it looks like almost all of the boeing fleet save a couple is back in service. AA already announced thier entire fleet is operating in a month.....so i think Joe will be mostly right in terms of normal by July.

I live in BC and spend the winter at my vacation home in PHX. I was in the US since early November. Usually in the winter I am in Southern Hemisphere Summer but with the travel restrictions I flew a lot domestically and a couple of trips to CR. Although the land borders are closed to non essential travel, there has never been any restrictions on Canadians entering the US via air.

Interesting. I wonder if they are being moved to long term storage or whether AS has found itself short on aircraft as demand has picked up and plans to reintroduce some currently parked planes? I know many of the parked 320s were already reconfigured with the new interior.
