Is there a way to pick one of these up without buying a ticket?

Yeah, if you check the craigslist/sf. There will be a bunch of people selling them for like $25 each. I'm personally going to go to the game to grab some.

I'd expect there to be a lot of litter outside the park after the game when people see the booking expiration date.

When I did this in Seattle last year, the trash can right by the entrance was full of them. This was right when they opened, so it was basically a clean garbage bag with mostly certificates in them. I very shamelessly grabbed handfuls of them.

I'm sure someone on FT will be happy to grab one for you if you ask.

That'd be fun if someone ends up with a few extra codes

I would be most appreciative as well. 😉 Ironically waiting to book a trip to SFO fist week of January.

Thanks

If there were any extra codes floating around after the game I'd love go snag one.

Lots on CL but I assume the going rate will be rapidly approaching zero by tomorrow night so I'll sit tight for now instead of spending $30-40

If I can snag one today, going to use it for wife and kid. Anyone know if they want to change the flight in the future, the fare of the second ticket doesn't jump from zero to the fare at the time of the change does it?

Edit: I'm guessing this part means future changes will result in forfeiture of discount:

Changes and Refunds: Changes and refunds are allowed per the applicable fare rule and will result in the forfeiture of the Discount Code in cases where the modified itinerary does not qualify for the discount. Once issued, tickets are not transferable.

@missydarlin - Twitter team not being responsive; do you know the answer to my question above regarding changes?

Edit: future changes means discount is forfeited.
