For earning rates See Partner Page

Eligible flight numbers (No Silkair)

Award Charts:
(see note below for definition of "Continental USA", "SE Asia" and "South Pacific" )
SE Asia-SE Asia: 17,500 Y, 25,000 J 35,000 F
North Asia-SE Asia: 22,500 Y 60,000 J, 75,000 F
SE Asia-Middle East/India 25,000 Y 65,000 J 85,000 F
SE Asia-South Pacific 30,000 Y 65,000 J 90,000 F
SE Asia-Europe 42,500 Y 110,00 J 160,000 F
North Asia-Europe 65,000 Y 175,000 J 240,000 F
Middle East-Europe 60,000 Y, 160,000 J 210,000 F
Continental USA-North Asia: 40,000 Y 80,000 J 110,000 F
Continental USA-SE Asia/India: 47,500 Y 100,000 J 130,000 F
Continental USA-South Pacific 70,000 Y 145,000 J 190,000 F

Note: Chart only allows contiguous US and Alaska as "USA", however, AS connecting flights to Hawaii/Canada/Mexico are allowed. No chart for USA-Europe (though in theory you could redeem SIN-USA or USA-SIN routing on SQ onestops involving Europe and get off the plane in FRA/MAN, pretty high price in miles though). Stopover in SIN not allowed on regional awards (Intra-Asia,including South Pacific) not touching US.
"North Asia" includes China (PEK/PVG) as per latest update by AS. South Pacific is Australia/New Zealand

I have utilized it once for myself. I personally did not like Japan that much, neither does the family. It does not help that you either have to start or return somewhere else. Weird that I slept better in angel-flat BKK-KIX leg than full-flat TYO-SIN leg.

So maybe another time with the whole family if it still works. Great availability from SIN to TYO in JL. Often can find at least 4 J seats for the whole trip.

Last night I was having no issues with stopovers on SQ awards. Now, I can't seem to generate any SQ awards with stopovers.

I am easily able to find a SIN stopover. Maybe you are checking dates with no availability? What route are you looking at?

think stopover only applies to/from US.

no stopover allowed for intra-Southeast Asia, Southeast Asia to South Pacific, etc

well. there goes PEK/PVG-SIN(stopover)-HKG

Yes, that seems to be the case. I should have clarified the route. I was able to book PEK-SIN-SUB last night with a 15-day stop over in SIN. I cannot replicate today across any date.

Well that was quick. Stopovers no longer work for me intra-Asia either. They do still work from the US.

It’s not due to lack of availability either, they’ll still happily route you via SIN for HKG to PEK without a stopover.

I wonder if JAL will also face a similar lockdown.

Nah I cannot replicate, this is plain wrong and impossible, and even if it is possible what is the point of doing such gnarly flights anyway?

Okay now the gullibles are gone, let me tell you it may or may not have F possibility if you can find it. It has something to do with the non-stopover allowed update, anywhere that the system updates as unable to allow a stopover in SIN has this kind of problem, so think anywhere outside SE asia and N.Asia.

The funny thing is you can't find any J/F searching SIN-LON or HKG-LON but a ton with this stupid multi-city search... just plainly stupid.
