"percolate" is what I do to make coffee - "poison" is what I use to kill something

seems Brad wants to "poison" his new acquisition !!

Inquiring minds want to know - if I get upgraded to "Premium" on my SFO-SFO trip do I get a baby box?

Just grabbed PDX-SFO July 11 for $63; what's the point of advertising "Prices start at $89" on PDX-SFO when there are plenty of cheaper fares?

And just think of the flight delays you'll suffer on the route!

No delays at all. Just board any plane waiting at the gate and walk back off. No AS miles but you can still earn elevate points since it is revenue based.

my kind of mileage run

You could just stay at the same gate and board and deplane all morning (SFO-SFO) ... like our last VX flight...
WE finally board plane (1 hour delay) and watch while captain, ground crew and GA have 15 minutes debate. Then....announced
Entire plane to deplane, wait then re-boarded. Ordered to deplane again and found out no security check was done first time and the second one was done by wrong personnel. Hence, the second deplaning. Second security check...
More concerning...is there not a standard check list for this?? Does the flight crew not check that this has been performed before boarding flight??
Captain said it was a company mistake and apologized.

And probably two rounds of PDBs :D

Does the SFO-SFO fare rules allow routing through JFK, BOS, IAD, or FLL like the last one? :D

Terminal 2 at SFO is the only connecting point allowed. Sorry to disappoint you. :D

Usually happens if another airline has their own sale at a lower price than AS/VX planned on advertising for.

In this case though, $63/$69 is the normal off peak advance fare for this route

Southwest has the same thing on their sales. They advertise a sale price only to have it be higher than the lowest non-sale price.

AS doesn't make any changes to the VX site. Looks like they must have fixed the display San Diego to San Francisco.
