Wow! were the new bright monitors at the ramp and each gate wrong? (they are actually hard to miss compared to the old ones and I really like that) I have not relied on what the GA says when going thru the BP reader, I just look at the multiple monitors on the ramps on my way down to the plane. So, I haven't noticed if the GA gave the wrong gate or not.

I forget what the GA says too, that is why I haven't actually paid attention to what they say, and just look at the monitors. PDX is where I have to pay attention, I like SEA much better for that.

Here is today’s new one. I landed early into Seattle and ran to the gate for standby. Standby went though however I was handed the boarding pass to the wrong person. Same last name, wrong first name and gender. Of course I was way to excited to get home a hour earlier I didn’t look at he boarding pass untill I was boarding the plane. I alerted the FA. I do feel bad for her if she is denied boarding a flight later because she was marked as boarded.

I am anticipating this. Because I use digital passes I am now shy the boarding pass for this flight. The digital boarding pass on the app updated when the original flight departed. The paper one with the wrong name was provided to the FA onboard the ensure the person listed can board their flight.

SEA is stamping paper boarding passes with the door number tonight. Unfortunately, they're stamping the wrong door number. Just had the second YYJ pax try to board EUG.

I like that they have the LCD screens now, as you walk down the ramps there are a couple and one at each doorway. Since I always use my phone as a mobile BP the screens are what I rely on. (without them I might end up following the wrong crowd! LOL as they do tend to board several planes at once)
