New Flights from Paine Field!
https://blog.alaskaair.com/alaska-ai...-field-flying/
“We’re not quite ready to share details of the routes,” says John Kirby, Alaska’s vice president of capacity planning. “But I can tell you they won’t be limited to short, regional flights. We’re talking daily, nonstop flights to some of our most popular destinations.” |

Great news...let the speculation begin.
I'd guess some combination of PDX, SFO, LAX and HNL. Maybe even ANC. |
Of course I wonder which group will be the first to file a lawsuit to try and stop this :(

This is great. I'm about equidistant from both and I'd prefer PAE 99 times out of 100 to SEA.
|
nine departures with a mix of 737s and E75s
|
Great news!
I'll bet the Hilton Garden Inn up there will make a bundle on park n fly. Traffic could be interesting though, given the heavy traffic to/from Boeing at times. |
Yeah, I agree with PDX, SFO, LAX, HNL, and maybe one transcon.

I wonder if construction in the N gates at SEA plays any role here. Will any frequency at SEA to places like LAX or SFO shift up to PAE?
|
|
When will the terminal with two gates be ready at PAE? I'm guessing it will be done by that time. Also guessing half the flights will be to PDX everyday

I would bet on LAS over a transcon. ;)
Would also not be surprised to see GEG in there somewhere. |
If there could then be Kenmore air fixed plane options from the San Juans that would connect, this could be awesome for many!
|
That will make connecting a pain in the rear unless these plan to be O/D routes.
