Lowly MVP status has worked out pretty well for me so far. Between being based in PDX and flying at leisure times, I've been upgraded on all my AS flights this year.

Made it to MVPG 75K on the 22nd of June via 90k on partners (primarily on BA, some AA, some DE). Makes me wonder whether I am in the wrong loyalty program ...

Have not booked anything for October and November, so I'm at 45K flown and 71K booked or flown. I will likely make it with no mileage running which is a nice change.

Hit MVP Gold from a flight flown on 6/24/17 - FRA-ANC-SEA on Condor (just posted). I'm at just over 63,500 EQM partner miles. I'm a partner hog - I only have ~10k AS EQM miles.
There's a good chance I'll make Gold 75k (90k partner) as I have a few trips already lined up that should get me close.

As an aside, I will end the year with around 340,000 RQM after beginning the year with 0...........all of this with 0 lifetime flights on AS. Is this unusual for some of you AS elites here?

The 0 Alaska flights is unusual, but the large number of redeemable miles is super common if you fly partner business class. I've earned roughly 300k miles so far, and over the next three weeks will earn another 90k. It could have been another 50k on top of that, but I figured SEA-LAX-SYD was more enjoyable than SEA-LHR-SYD

Only 4 left, and I'm trying to save them for an anniversary trip to Hawaii (assuming I can ever find non-redeye U availability). I've made a lot of people at work happy from handing them out though ^

How long should an AS flight take to post to mileage plan? I flew my last flight to get to MVPG on Friday and it still hasn't posted to my account as of Wednesday at 1644.
I fly SJC-PDX tomorrow and would like to have a better shot at an upgrade.
