Now if we could just get a SFO-ANC direct going...
Indeed. It's been quite a few years since AS had this route.

I'm going via LAX in a couple weeks myself

Flew my Gold requalifying flight to KOA on the 29th but it hasn’t posted yet. So now my profile is showing MVP. Just hoping I’ll be back to Gold for my return flight

Always the risk with re-qualifying around the end of the year... You booked as Gold right? So at least your Gold benefits will apply. ^

Final flight pushing me over 10k for my challenge posted today. Gold status, plus 4 GGUs.

Now I guess I might have to fix all my future flights?

Have fun once status posts

It's a targeted offer to those who were short requalifying where you fly X miles or segments to reclaim status.

MVP (or AS status in generally) is such a breeze to qualify/requal. 4 transcon R/Ts on AS metal and you're done. No EQD BS.

Since I'm usually flying on 100EQD o/w fares 15R/Ts is necessary to requal for AA Gold. Seriously.

Re-qualified for MVP Gold on last Wednesday's SEA-DFW flight

Nice to see the 4 new GGU's

While I'd love to make 75K looks like it's going to just be a bridge too far....

SO grateful in the status quest for the Status Calculator by @Voldoo !

Well, I ended up on a "normal" schedule this year after all.

MVP in February, MVPG in May, and hit 75K on Friday enroute to Hawaii.

Requalified for MVPG a couple weeks ago with an LAX-CTU run in Hainan R class before the earning change goes into effect.

Still unsure of 2019 travel patterns. Currently spending a lot of time in CVG, so I was bummed to see CMH chosen for a new route instead of CVG. But will still have a few BOS-SEA in there, so MVPG will be worth it. Also hoping the distance-based earning sticks around, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see that change next year.

I made MVPG again with my latest trip JNU-IAH. Planning-wise, it might be hard for us in 2019 as we’re planning less trips to see the granddaughter. Oh well, maybe a couple of trips to Hawaii could be thrown in next year.
