Chocolate OR drink, not both, for MVPGs on Horizon?

I was hoping for a F upgrade but have a companion and not won't get it because there is only 1 seat. I'm MVP75 gold. Two questions.
1. Will I and my companion get a free premium drink in economy?
2. do they offer a second free drink if they do a second service?

My experience is no, but it's up to the FA.

Again, not my experience. I've had some success asking for a double on the initial service.

Normally you wouldn't get both. Think of the chocolates as a concelation item for not getting an upgraded seat (first or premium) and not wanting a drink.

I saw one FA proactively passing them out to their side of the cart. The FA taking care of my row did not do this. I didn't say anything.

So YMMV, but its not common. One does get a snack sized box and beverages in this row.
