Possible to Earn AS miles flying VN Metal on a cathay reservation?
Is it possible to earn Alaska miles on the SGN-HKG portion of an itinerary that is flown by VN metal but booked by Cathay and with a Cathay flight number? I got miles for the HKG-LAX segment on the same reservation but didn't verify my AS number was attached to the first leg and haven't received anything yet, 6 days after departure.

AS and VN don't partner, so don't think this will be a go.
