Thanks Sturges and ComAirKid!! Can a moderator consider making this thread a sticky thread so we can all use the table in the thread to verify the fare class of our tickets in the future, and also somebody can update the table when fare classes have been changed by AS?

Thanks for this! Super helpful! Would be very curious to know if anyone has any experience using SQ miles to book AS flights. Do they only have access to W inventory or can you sometimes get N space? Any thoughts or experiences appreciated.

Note that the chart at the top is a somewhat out of date and missing Basic Economy X fares and the new I class which is a discount F class.

AS Marketed QF flights still earn 1:1

Earning on Qantas

For Alaska codeshare flights
For Qantas flights marketed by Alaska Airlines and purchased as Alaska Airlines flights (AS) 5000-5499, base miles and class of service bonuses earned are based on the Alaska Airlines earning chart. You can earn a mile for every mile for every mile you fly, when you book your Qantas flight here on alaskaair.com.

O and G fare buckets on AS earn 0.5 EQM per mile on AA. X earns nothing and im assuming is mileage redemption. What are these buckets?

X is paid economy Saver.
O and G are cheap paid Main Economy.
Interestingly, I have an AS mileage redemption for travel in June that appears to be G as well.

I think AS needs to make O and G full EQM earning then.

They do when you credit to AS Mileage Plan, just not when you credit to AA program.

I do too. Thank you.

Having revisited the chart, I wonder how L V S N are different, if at all?
