odd reservation process
 

I fell off the ranks of MVP on Jan 1. Today I was booking a flight for March to Seattle. I decided to pay for row 6 seating so that I wouldn't have to sit in the very back of the plane.

The strange thing is when I got to the receipt page it said I was MVP and waitlisted for first class. Yet my profile overview and status page does not show me being MVP. The only thing I can think of is that I had a customer service discount code from last year due to some minor service failure. I have not been offered (or asked for) any status challenges.

Any ideas?
