Not ambiguous at all. Very clear, actually.

You apparently conclude that the entire 900 fleet will be re-configured by the second half of January...I'm hoping for way sooner. Have a couple of cross country trips and will explore other carriers if can't get a reconfigured one.
Thank you

Better explore your other options, then. Fleet reconfigs don't happen overnight, especially when AS will need to use those 900ERs during peak travel season this summer. I wouldn't count on this going significantly faster than the AS employees posting in this thread have indicated.

Thank you. That makes good sense...:)

Caught a ride on a hoped-for extinct sub-species, a 1.5-year-old -990 with no divider bulkhead between Y and F, no curtain, no premium class and four rows of tight-packed F. Also, had to endure self-proclaimed expert in the hospitality industry in 2D drone on to the off-duty FA across the aisle for most of the 5.5 hour flight. Good times ;)

I've been on that plane or variant. No bulkhead is a very odd cabin experience. Almost disorienting. And open season on the F lav.

Sounds like an in-modified PC aircraft with the old style pivot Bins that had the class divider removed for an MEL.

I just booked 2 segments on 739s for September. Both seatmaps show F12 (3 rows). Safeguard for potential change to 738 this far out, or ominous sign?

Safeguard I'd think... lot of swaps it seems.

Finally on reconfigured - 900, N419AS, AS #30 PDX-BOS. Very nice. Sidenote for dog stat keepers. I'm in 2D. Large service dog in 1F (owner asked about vegetarian meal option when PDC (coffee) offered. Small pet dog out between seats 3D/F. Looking forward to uneventful flight :-) (fingers crossed).

Do they fly non ER 900s to Hawaii? Just had a schedule change for October mileage run flight and our outbound changes to a 900 showing 16 F and no Premium class. We are in F but obviously would be greater chance of switch to new configuration if it is 900ER and as there seem to be more of those already reconfigured, right?

There are a total of 40 900ER's that can fly to Hawaii, they are the planes with N4XXAS aircraft registrations. None of the 900's or the other 900ER's can fly there. My guess is you will have a 80%-85% chance of a reconfigured plane by October.

Thanks! Looks like although they aren't selling Premium the seat map shows a row 34 - so assuming that means they are expecting it to be reconfigured?
