This isnt just for BLI.....

compare...

MCI has nonstop to both PDX and SEA...compare the nonstop to the connection flight through the other city.

$23 (17%) more (139 v. 162) for SEA-PDX-MCI, vs the non-stop (and the non-stop is year round) which is reasonable, there's an extra PFC in there for the additional airport

$54 (52%) more (104 v. 159) on BLI-LAS vs BLI-SEA-LAS

Not really the same thing.

Why would AS "waste" a connecting flight to its hub to accommodate "cheap" LAS pax, if they can make more money connecting pax via its hub to one of its international partners?

it was mispriced

it was mispriced. Corrections with correct pricing are now in the Alaska system.

Kudos to the Bellingham airport authority who followed up with AS, and AS who confirmed [and fixed] the mistake.
