AS is there for two weeks or so to help train after launch. I saw the same person on the inaugural of BNA and RDU

gotta say the ICT flight is a bit of a surprise. i figured the next E175 destination in the central USA would be something like OKC, DSM, LIT, or XNA. shows what i knw LOL.
nice timing on these flights to allow a good number of connections too.

DL no longer ground handles or shares facilities with AS. AA pretty much only does BTW at ORD.
Without going into a social/income inequality debate and labor relations debate, carriers are increasingly only staffing their primary gateways and have a number of larger line stations per their union CBAs. Even WN is outsourcing ramp service at newly opened small airport points (see MEM or LGB as examples). In the bankruptcy, legacy AA went from approximately 40 ramp stations with a minimum annual average of seven daily mainline departures to only 17 stations with a threshold of an annual average of 25 daily departures. AS, of course, no longer has a single ramp service employee in the US 48.

This.
That's the one that's been on my list from day one but it's finally a very real possibility. I'm giving it 3-5 years for that one to be announced, if not sooner. May even be an MVP again if/when that one happens! Coworkers yesterday actually told me about the new routes by saying "we're getting closer!".
