MP Account made inactive despite Feb 2016 tranaction
Yesterday my MP account was made inactive for alleged non-activity, despite having a transaction in Feb 2016 (miles donation), at which time the expiry date was updated to Feb 2018.
Today I tried to call MP from Australia on the 1800 number which was not working. Then I saw the very helpful hints in the FT thread about how to contact AS from outside the USA, and I got through on the "other country" number listed there.
The IT error was admitted and the miles were reinstated manually with no fee.
Why the account was made inactive remains an IT mystery.
