When they changed a website on earning miles today, BA section does not show earning miles in I class (club world). Is that a typo???
Hopefully as all my CW classes are I???
Anyone?
IT is actually J, it is all good, i dont think they sell I?

I class on BA is discounted business, and a very common class around FT (using AARP discount you can often get down to low $1k range during the flash sales).
It is indeed not listed on the new earning chart. Hopefully this is an oversight.

Both I and J are legitimate CW fare classes on BA. I is discount and J is full-fare refundable.
I used be on the Mileage Plan earning chart alongside R (150% earning rate), so it might be a typo, but the charts tend to be strictly "what you see is what you earn". If your ticket's in I, it would be a good idea to check with customer service.

No mileage earning on I fares would be crazy talk. It's not like it's a $99 cheap W fare on Delta with no perks at all. It's business class! It'd be like saying that the only fare that earns points in coach is full-fare refundable Y.
Yikes.

AS is making it very difficult for me to want to re-up MVPG with this nonsense. i realize it is a two way street with their partners, but it seems like basically every partner out there has a "gotcha" right now except for FI, and i sure as hell am not flying their "J" class product if i can avoid it.

They just rescinded the confirmation and said that it earns 150%.

Currently on phone with them about this to get an ETA on the website change.
Edit: Rep confirms this was clerical error, not sure on ETA for website change but tells me her supervisor is aware of this.

Various partners have no earnings for certain discounted business fares, i.e., AM "I," LA "Z."
