"Insight Community" Research Surveys / Responses and Comments

I got an email from Alaska today inviting me to join the "Insight Community". To sign up I had to answer a bunch of demographic questions and questions about travel habits, frequent flier programs, etc.

Is this a new thing? Website is https://insights.alaskaair.com/

Yeah, I got it too. Approved immediately, logged in, and it looks like there's no content.

AS marketing at it's best again?

received, completed survey, approved for participation, no content.

since 4+ of the more active people on this board are already enrolled, either AS is doing a great job of targeting highly engaged FF's, or the group they are forming isn't really that exclusive (see: "United Airtime")

Same here. Approved but not redirected (no 'next' button to click). No content when I log in.

No status, 0 miles in account, approved. So maybe it isn't very targeted

I would imagine that AS targeted a wide swath and number of customers, with certain mix %'s in mind as to how many they want who fly 50x a year, 20x, 1x, people who are members of other FF programs, how many aren't, etc, and that they will start cutting off applications/approvals once they hit these thresholds.

So it likely didn't restrict much in terms of targeting, but you'll see restrictions coming in terms of how many approvals are issued in coming hours/days.
