New handheld entertainment players began rolling out on 2/1/15. They have some pre-loaded content but also can access the streaming service.

I had it on bos-san yesterday and San-bos today worked flawlessly on my galaxy s5. I downloaded app in flight on chrome. Full flights. Watched that Seth Rogan movie with the frat house next door., what ever it's called. I also watched Ride Along. Excellent quality.

Not all A/C are equipped with gogo yet.

For 'those in the know' it would be fun to make a wiki of aircraft that have this installed and functioning. I hope to contribute to A/C numbers starting tomorrow night ^

Consolidated Alaska Beyond Experiences/Thoughts (Free thru Jan 2015)

Worked great on SEA-DTW yesterday, on an iPad Mini. Nice and easy, no hiccups or lags across multiple shows.

No tail number, but on EWR-SEA on 1/7 movie lagged every 5-10 minutes. Had to quit out of movie back to app and replay. Minor annoyance, but still not smooth.

The one with Russell Wilson on it has streaming Gogo (sorry, don't know more info, except that it was delivered on Jan 6, 2014).

Same route flown twice the past week, and Alaska beyond was only offered once, the second trip didn't have it. Guess it really depends on the aircraft.
